A women's health workshop and lunch for women in perimenopause who are done with diets that don't work anymore.
What you eat and how you move in your 40s doesn't just affect your weight. It affects your heart, your bones, your brain, and your energy for the decades ahead.
This workshop gives you the nutrition and movement plan to get it right. In three hours you'll understand exactly why your body has changed, what it needs now, and walk away with a clear plan to start losing weight, build strength, regain your energy, and feeling like yourself again.
Location: Forrester’s Private Dining Room, Surry Hills NSW
Date: 18 July 2026
Time: 12:30pm - 4:30pm
Perimenopause can start as early as 38 to 42. It doesn't announce itself. It creeps in as weight that won't budge, energy that disappears by 2pm, and a body that feels like it's working against you. Most women spend years blaming themselves before they realise their hormones changed the rules without telling them.
It's not about eating less. In fact, dropping calories in perimenopause can make things worse, spiking cortisol, breaking down muscle, and slowing your metabolism further. Your hormones need a completely different approach to food and fuel, and this is exactly what we cover.
The weight gain is hormonal, not lack of effort. As oestrogen shifts in your 40s, your body starts storing fat differently, particularly around the belly, using energy less efficiently, and losing muscle faster than before. You can be doing everything right and still feel like nothing is working. This is biology, not willpower.
You can lose weight at this stage. But the approach that worked at 30, less food, more cardio, sheer willpower, is not the answer. What works now is understanding exactly what your body needs in perimenopause and fuelling and moving in a way that works with your hormones, not against them. That's what this workshop is built around.

This is the decade that sets the next four. The choices you make now, around nutrition, muscle, recovery, and hormonal health, have consequences that go far beyond how you look in your clothes. Building strength and eating for your biology in perimenopause and menopause is one of the most powerful things you can do for your long-term health.

Oestrogen decline increases cardiovascular risk. Nutrition and resistance training are among the most effective protective tools available to you.

Bone loss accelerates significantly in the decade around menopause. Strategic resistance training and protein intake are not optional, they are medicine.

Muscle mass is your metabolic engine. The more you build and maintain it now, the more protected your insulin sensitivity and energy regulation will be.

Oestrogen influences serotonin and dopamine. Blood sugar stability, protein, and gut health all directly affect cognitive function and emotional regulation in this phase.

Beyond the weight loss, beyond the body composition, here's what clients actually say.
Working with Alicia has been an absolute joy. She meets me exactly where I’m at. Her coaching is flexible, supportive, and perfectly structured without feeling rigid. I feel informed, confident about what works for my body in my 40s, and able to build strength and wellbeing without guilt or restriction. I’d recommend her to any woman 40+ wanting knowledgeable, kind support.

I spent most of my thirties doing everything right and getting nowhere. Chronic inflammation, mystery health issues, and 10 kilos I couldn't shift no matter what I tried. I'd gone as far as travelling to Costa Rica to study raw food nutrition. Still nothing moved.
When I finally stopped fighting my body and started understanding it, everything changed. I got lean, strong, and for the first time in years, recognised the woman looking back at me.
That experience, backed by formal study in health science, became the foundation for True Nature Nutrition. I work with women in their 40s to build lean, strong bodies and a self image that gets to keep that version of them. Not a transformation they fall out of. A new identity they grow into.
This is what it means to build a strong, confident woman from the inside out.

You don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to keep trying things that weren't designed for where your body is right now.
